Why has Brad not updated the pH calculation in both BeerSmith desktop and mobile despite the guy that wrote the calculations used by BeerSmith stating that his calculations were wrong?. Why do non-functional "Add Acid" and "Add Acid Malt" button show up on the Brew Session page when you navigate there and not from Edit mode?. Randy talks a bit about what to use for making gluten-free beer – as may people are gluten intolerant today. Dan explores his experiment with malting grains at home. Randy talks about malted vs unmalted grain versions and the differences between these. Dan talks about making 100% oat beer from malted oats. Randy explores some other alternatives including buckwheat, spelt, quinoa and other off beat grains. Dan instead argues that the cider taste in many extracts is caused by stale extract rather than sugar additions.
